In July 2023, Shatoot Consultants was entrusted by the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA) to conduct a comprehensive third-party evaluation of a newly installed 200kW On-Grid photovoltaic system at SCA’s Kabul Management Office. 

Our evaluation encompassed a detailed review of the system’s design, installation, and compliance with the Terms of Reference (ToR), Bill of Quantity (BoQ), and technical specifications provided by SCA. Through field inspections, technical cross-referencing, and risk assessments—including grounding verification and lightning protection analysis, Shatoot delivered a robust report that highlighted both strengths and areas for improvement. The final recommendations aim to enhance the safety, performance, and long-term reliability of the solar infrastructure.
