Ahmad Saleem brings over 20 years of experience in international development and humanitarian programming to his advisory role with Shatoot Consultants. A Fulbright Scholar and recognized leader in sustainable development, he has worked extensively with global organizations to design and implement impactful initiatives across Afghanistan.

Ahmad held senior leadership positions, including Senior Political Advisor to the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Head of Program Implementation at Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) and Head of the UNDP-funded ABADEI Program with the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA). His career also includes managing regional development programs and advising on emergency response strategies.

Ahmad’s expertise spans program design, governance, community resilience, and sustainable infrastructure development. His ability to bridge international best practices with local realities makes him a trusted advisor for organizations seeking to deliver measurable impact in complex environments.
