Mohammad Najib Amiri
Mohammad Najib Amiri is a recognized development professional with over 25 years of leadership experience in Afghanistan’s largest community-driven and infrastructure programs. Trained as an architect and holding an Executive MBA in Development Studies, he has directed and advised on multi-donor projects with budgets exceeding USD 2.3 billion, spanning both rural and urban development.
Mr. Amiri has held senior positions with UN-Habitat, UNOPS, and the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD), including serving as General Director of the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program (CCNPP). In this role, he oversaw flagship initiatives such as the Urban Citizens’ Charter Project (CCAP), EZ-Kar, and REACH, collectively covering 27 cities and benefiting millions of Afghans. His leadership ensured effective donor coordination with the World Bank, USAID, EU, and other international partners.
