English, Dari, and Technical Writing Classes for the National and International Staff of a UN Agency

In March 2024, UN Women Afghanistan contracted Shatoot Consultants to deliver English and Dari language training for both international and national staff. The program, running until April 2025, was designed to strengthen communication skills and enhance staff effectiveness across the organization. Shatoot was responsible for designing learning plans, developing curriculum and materials, conducting regular classes, and providing monthly progress reports. The training was delivered through a mix of online and face-to-face classes, enabling participation from UN Women employees across different provinces. 

Classes included: 

  • Beginner ESL classes for national staff
  • Intermediate ESL classes 
  • Advance ESL classes
  • Beginner Dari classes for international employees 
  • Intermediate Dari classes for international employees 
  • Technical Writing class for senior-level staff
  • TOEFL iBT Preparation class
