Entrepreneurship Training and Livelihood Counselling for 50 Women Participants
In June–July 2025, Shatoot Consultants partnered with the Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA) to deliver a tailored entrepreneurship training and livelihood counselling program. This initiative was designed to empower rural communities by equipping selected beneficiaries with practical skills, financial literacy, and personalized livelihood strategies.
The assignment included designing context-specific training modules covering small-scale agribusiness, home-based production, and rural trade opportunities. Over five days of intensive training, participants learned essential concepts such as budgeting, savings, cost-benefit analysis, and reinvestment planning. Following the training, three rounds of livelihood counselling sessions were conducted to assess individual interests, resources, and vulnerabilities, ensuring that each participant developed a personalized livelihood strategy plan.
By combining technical knowledge with hands-on counselling, Shatoot provided beneficiaries with the tools to identify local economic opportunities and build sustainable income sources. The final consultancy report documented progress, challenges, and recommendations, reinforcing Shatoot’s commitment to capacity-building and rural economic resilience.
